Regulatory and physical constraints in the US are forcing new GPU-hungry startups to build data centers in Mexico or Australia.

Data center revenue reduced average property taxes by $6,000 per household in Loudoun County, Virginia.

“We've seen that in Lowden County, Virginia, the average taxpayers property taxes went down by $6,000 because they're getting all this data center revenue.”

New GPU-hungry startups are already being forced to build data centers in Mexico or Australia because US data center deployment is too blocked by regulatory and physical constraints.

“It is so bad that right now if we have new companies going for GPUs, it's often in Mexico or Australia or another country just because it is so difficult in the United States.”
