What is Bridgewater?
Bridgewater is an investment management firm whose leadership has publicly described building its decision-making around computer-coded systems and, more recently, artificial intelligence. Ray Dalio said he encoded his market rules into computer code as the basis for how he built the firm, and Greg Jensen, its chief investment officer, has described an internal AI effort he calls AIA and its rapid convergence with the firm’s Pure Alpha strategy.
